Here are the top three stories today in Las Vegas:

  1. A prominent Las Vegas personal injury attorney has been sentenced to four to ten years in a Nevada prison for stealing nearly $2 million from clients' settlement funds. Matthew Dunkley pleaded guilty to three counts of theft. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department detectives began investigating Dunkley in 2018 after clients reported financial settlement misappropriation. (News3LV)
  2. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department performed a "DUIBlitz" last weekend. During the operation, over 140 traffic stops were conducted. The department issued 62 citations and made 13 DUI arrests. One individual was arrested for his third DUI felony. The department will be conducting another "DUIBlitz" this weekend. 3. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a Monday afternoon shooting. The incident occurred near Fort Apache and Gomer Roads. It is currently unclear what led to the shooting. The department had not made any arrests as of Tuesday evening. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
