🌱 Retired Las Vegas AP Correspondent Dies + Walk To Defeat ALS

Here are the top three stories today in Las Vegas:

1. After Clark County released its updated vote totals on Saturday night, Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto declared victory. She was leading Adam Laxalt by about 7,000 votes after the vote total was released. With Sen. Masto's win, the Democratic Party will remain in control of the U.S. Senate. 2. A retired Las Vegas AP correspondent has died at the age of 85. Robert Macy wrote thousands of stories during the two decades that he worked for The Associated Press in Las Vegas. Funeral services for Macy are still pending as of Sunday evening. (AP News)
3. The Southern Nevada Walk to Defeat ALS was held on Sunday in North Las Vegas. The annual walk was at Craig Ranch Regional Park. Participants enjoyed food trucks, face painting, and more.
