Here are the top three stories in Las Vegas today:

1. Former Clark County administrator Robert Telles has pleaded not guilty to the stabbing of a former Las Vegas investigative journalist. Telles was stripped of his elected position after his arrest for the Sep. 2 fatal stabbing of reporter Jeff German. His next court date will be Nov. 2 in front of Clark County District Court Judge Mark Denton. (Las Vegas Sun)
2. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has added 37 new police officers. The new officers graduate from the department's training academy today. The new officers are a diverse group that speaks multiple languages and come from five different countries. (KTNV 13 Action News Las Vegas)
3. The District Attorney has decided to not press charges against a Clark County bus driver. The driver was arrested and booked into the Clark County Detention Center on Tuesday morning for one count of abuse of a vulnerable person. The arrest was the result of an investigation into a September incident that occurred at the Cheyenne Bus Yard. (KTNV 13 Action News Las Vegas)
