Here are the top three stories in Las Vegas today:

  1. Las Vegas City Hall will be hosting a special Election Day event to encourage voting in the Nov. 8 General Election. The event will be titled "Vote Las Vegas" and run from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. There will be food trucks, music, and giveaways during the event. The lot on Clark Avenue will be offering free parking. (News3LV)
  2. Smokey Robinson has announced his return to Las Vegas. The acclaimed singer-songwriter will be performing Friday, Apr. 14, and Saturday, Apr. 15, at The Venetian Theatre. Tickets will go on sale this Friday for the general public at 10:00 a.m. Click to purchase your tickets when they become available. (Yahoo!)
  3. Clark County's early voting started on Saturday. Voters are able to cast ballots at over a dozen early polling locations in the county. The early voting period will last through Nov. 4. According to the county, more voters prefer to cast a ballot early than cast a ballot on Election Day. (News3LV)
