- Nevada has investigated more than 12 allegations of violating the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act, a federal anti-dumping law, since 2018. The legislation allows anyone to seek medical emergency services whether or not they can pay. It prevents hospitals from transporting patients to another hospital if they are without health insurance. (News3LV)
- A 25-year-old man will undergo a competency evaluation before facing several felony charges for driving a vehicle on the Vegas Strip sidewalks and then catching fire after police pinned his car on both sides. Wilson Reyes-Gonzales will face assault with a deadly weapon and other serious charges if he is fit to understand the charges against him. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
- According to Metro Police, 18 suspects were taken into custody after authorities set up an undercover internet operation where they posed as juveniles. The suspects arranged to meet up with the undercover agents. Charges included luring a minor with a computer to engage in sexual acts and attempted sexual assault with a victim under 14. (Las Vegas Sun)
