Here are the top three stories today in Las Vegas:

1. According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, two people were killed at an apartment complex yesterday morning. Police say the incident occurred on the 5300 block of Craig Road, where two people wanted to purchase an AR-15 from someone and decided to try and steal it instead. The two and the individual selling the gun reportedly struggled to take it from one another, and shots were fired, hitting and killing both individuals trying to steal. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
2. A disagreement between two drivers in northeast Las Vegas led to a fatal shooting at the end of November. Usbaldo Zarate, 27, is charged with open murder and attempted murder of 20-year-old Juan Flores. According to police, the incident was a road-rage encounter while Flores was driving home. 3. LGBTQ venues in Las Vegas are increasing security after drag queens expressed safety concerns. There has been hostility nationwide against the LGBTQ community, including a recent shooting at Club Q, a gay nightclub in Colorado. (News3LV)
