  1. The University Medical Center (UMC) will be offering more frequent free CPR classes throughout the first quarter of the year. Demands for the classes have increased across the valley recently. 2. Library cards from Nevada public libraries can now be used to access all 27 Nevada state parks. The cards are part of the Library Park Pass pilot program to help increase the accessibility to state parks. Each library card covers the day-use fee for one passenger vehicle. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
