Here are the top three stories in Las Vegas today:
- According to authorities, a 33-year-old Baltimore woman in Las Vegas for a court hearing for theft charges was arrested over the weekend for stealing a watch worth $12,000 and hiding it in her body. Sarah Richards was charged with theft of over $100,000 in value, residential burglary, grand theft of $100,000 or more, administering drugs to aid in committing a felony, and grand theft between $5,000 to $25,000. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
- Nevada's first "Place of Last Consumption" program is being launched in Clark County. The initiative tracks where drivers had their last alcoholic drink and is an effort to stop the high cases of deadly DUI accidents in the state – nearly half of all car accidents are caused by DUI drivers. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
- GOLO, a wellness solutions company, awarded the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada $10,000. The grant will support the nonprofit's healthy lifestyle programs for children and adolescents. (Nonprofit News.Vegas)
