  1. The first Battle, Axe & Tracks Music Festival is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 1, and Sunday, Oct. 2. The music festival is bringing award-winning, well-established, and emerging musicians to Rancho San Rafael Park for a weekend of music.   2. The City of Reno is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with a series of bilingual community positivity signs on Wells Avenue. The signs were unveiled on Thursday outside La Condesa Eatery during a special ceremony. There will be a series of 20 signs meant to uplift the community. (Press Release Desk)
  3. The Reno Municipal Court reports that Veronica Lopez is the court's new Administrator. She started the position on Sep. 9. Lopez has been with the court for more than 15 years. In the position, Lopez will be overseeing the 50-person court's functions and operations. (Press Release Desk)
