Here are the top three stories in Reno today:

  1. An impressive line-up of Broadway musicals is coming to the Pioneer Center for Performing Arts. The series will include five Broadway musicals. The series will be from Sep. 27, 2022 through May 21, 2023. Click here to get tickets. Click the following link to view the full line-up. (KOLO)
  2. Washoe County has awarded a family $459,00 through a settlement on a fatal crash involving a county sheriff's deputy. The settlement includes an admission of liability. Deputy Jade Brinson was fined $1,140 for the incident after pleading no contest to a misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter charge. (KOLO)
  3. The culprit behind dead birds at Reno parks is likely botulism. No notices have been issued by the City of Reno but the Nevada Department of Wildlife has confirmed the outbreak at a South Meadows pond. There are at least three other city parks that are being investigated. Residents and pets are asked to not go in or consume local pond water. (This Is Reno)
