City of Reno administrative offices will be closed on Monday, January 17, 2022, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

To help commemorate the holiday, all are welcome to attend the 36th Annual Interfaith Martin Luther King Memorial Service on Sunday, January 16 at 5 p.m. in the McKinley Arts and Culture Center located at 925 Riverside Dr. in Reno. Face masks are required for all attendees and in-person capacity is limited. Those who can participate virtually are encouraged to live-stream the event on Nevada Interfaith Association's Facebook page. The ceremony will feature interfaith prayers, blessings, speakers, and more.

All City of Reno recreation facilities and pools will be closed as well on January 17. Please visit Reno.gov/ParksandRec for more information.
