- A Washoe County resident has been infected with the hantavirus. The teenage boy was admitted to the hospital on Nov. 8 and remains hospitalized. The investigation is ongoing, and no additional details have been provided. This marks the first hantavirus case in Washoe County since December 2020. (News 4)
- On Nov. 11, Downtown Reno will celebrate Veteran's Day with a parade throughout the area. The parade will begin at the Virginia Street Bridge at 11:11 a.m. and finish at the 5th Street intersection with Virginia Street. The theme of the parade will be 'honor.'
