Here are the top three stories in Reno today:
- Today marks the annual Veterans Day parade in downtown Reno. The parade will begin on the Virginia Street Bridge and end at the intersection of 5th Street and Virginia Street. The parade will proceed north on Virginia Street from Liberty Street. The parade begins at 11:30 a.m. Residents are encouraged to come out and see the parade as it winds through downtown Reno. - A car crash off South McCarran caused lane closures and considerable traffic delays last night. On Thursday evening, a car slammed into the back of an RTC bus near Equity Avenue and Capital Boulevard. At least three feet of the bus was ripped off during the collision. Police advised travelers to seek alternate routes. (KRNV)
