Here are the top three stories today in Reno:
- The Reno Police Department arrested 14 individuals during its Saturday DUI saturation patrols. One of the individuals was arrested for felony eluding. The operation was funded by the state's Department of Public Safety of Traffic Safety and involved five officers. The operation conducted 71 traffic stops in total. (KOLO)
- The Reno Police Department reports that two Reno establishments sold alcohol to a 20-year-old during an alcohol sting on Friday. Reno Food and Discount Liquor and The Arch Boutique Bar failed to check the volunteer's identification. The sting inspected 13 businesses during the operation. (KOLO)
- A Nevada judge has ordered Tudor Chirila Junior, 77, to remain behind bars until his arraignment. He has been accused of murdering a woman 50 years ago in Waikiki. He was linked to the murder by DNA evidence. (2 News)
