RENO, NV - A suspect was extradited from Tempe, AZ by U.S. Marshals and booked into Washoe County Jail on Thursday, Feb. 15 in connection with an August murder that took place in Reno.On August 31, Reno Police found 26-year old Vidal Smith dead in the road near 1st St. and Roff Way from a gunshot. In September, Marshals arrested 27-year old Dontay Sevier in Tempe on a warrant related to the homicide. Last week, Sevier was transported back to Nevada.Court records show Sevier is facing one count of open murder and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 21.Image via Washoe County Jail records

On August 31, Reno Police found 26-year old Vidal Smith dead in the road near 1st St. and Roff Way from a gunshot. In September, Marshals arrested 27-year old Dontay Sevier in Tempe on a warrant related to the homicide.
