- The Reno Police Department is asking for the public's help locating an elderly woman who went missing late last week. Jeanne Milet,77, was last seen at her house on Coronado Way on Oct. 22. Police say she suffers from dementia and short-term memory loss. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the police immediately. (FoxReno.com)
- A pedestrian is suffering from life-threatening injuries following a traffic accident on Monday night. The incident occurred when the vehicle involved, which was traveling north on McCarran Boulevard, turned right onto Mira Loma Drive. The driver remained on the scene after the crash and is cooperating with the police department's investigation. (KOLO)
- The Peppermill Poker Palooza takes place in Reno this week, giving a boost to the city's tourism industry. The inaugural poker event features more than 30 tournaments and will be hosted in the Peppermill's Capri ballroom. Tournaments will run all week long.
