Here are the top three stories in Reno today:

  1. The Nevada Supreme Court panel has overturned Reno's Wayne Cameron's life sentence for first-degree murder. The case has now been sent back to the Washoe County District Court. The district attorney's office will then choose to either retry the case, appeal the decision to the full state Supreme Court, or appeal the ruling to the three-member panel. The office is reportedly weighing its options. (My News 4)
  2. Reno's Moment Skis celebrated its new factory opening yesterday. The company celebrated with beer and factory tours. Proceeds from the grand opening celebration went towards the Holland Project. Moment Skis is the largest ski manufacturer in the country. (Unofficial Networks)
  3. The Washoe County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team trained at the old Hug High School recently. The team ran slow search scenarios and practiced room breach tactics during the training. The training will allow the team to respond to a variety of real-life situations at a moment's notice. Click the following link to view the training photos. (2 News)
