Naomi Irion's Remains Found At Rural Nevada Gravesite: Authorities
The remains of Naomi Irion, 18, who was last seen outside a Walmart store in Fernley, were found at a rural gravesite, authorities say.

FERNLEY, NV — The remains of an 18-year-old woman who was last seen outside a Walmart store in Fernley, Nevada, were found at a gravesite in a remote part of Churchill County, authorities said.
Naomi Irion was last seen parked at the store around 5 a.m. March 12. She was waiting for a shuttle to take her to her job at Panasonic.
Surveillance video appeared to show a masked and hooded man walk into the parking lot, circle Irion's car and then force his way in.

On Tuesday, authorities received a tip about her disappearance.
Investigators with the Churchill County Sheriff’s Office along with a detective from the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office were called to a remote area in Churchill County and found a possible gravesite, where they found an adult woman's body, authorities said in a news release Wednesday night.

The Washoe County Medical Examiner's Office performed an autopsy and confirmed that the remains belonged to Irion.
Forensic teams are gathering evidence.
Further details weren't immediately released.
"We would like to extend our sympathy and condolences to the Irion family and thank all the volunteers for their hard work in trying to find Naomi and bring closure to the family," the Churchill County and Lyon County sheriff’s offices said in a joint news release.
On March 25, Troy Driver, 41, of Fallon, was arrested and charged with kidnapping in connection with Irion's disappearance.
