- The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) has been implementing lane reductions on Lakeside Drive in Reno since yesterday (Mar. 23) to repair roadside erosion caused by heavy winter precipitation. Into today (Mar. 24), Lakeside Drive is reduced to one lane between Huffaker and Lone Tree lanes from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Although drivers can expect minor delays, NDOT aims to repair the roadside drainages and culverts and improve the overall driving experience. - The 7th annual Reno Women's March will take place this Saturday, Mar. 25, with the theme of "The Power of One." The event will celebrate the contributions of women in Northern Nevada who work towards positive change and will feature speakers and entertainment at Believe Plaza, followed by a Community Action Fair at the Downtown Reno Library. The fair will provide an opportunity to meet with representatives from various nonprofits and learn about volunteer opportunities, as well as make donations to important causes. (KOLO)
- The 59th and final National Championship Air Races is set to take place at the Reno-Stead Airport, with tickets now on sale. The event will run from Sep. 13-17 and feature aerial skill and showmanship and will be a celebration of the event's legacy, although the decision to end it has been made due to concerns surrounding economic conditions, area development, public safety, and the impact on the Reno-Stead Airport and surrounding areas. Attendees can purchase a range of tickets, from reserved grandstand seats to more exclusive options like the Chairman’s Hospitality Tent and Checkered Flag Club. (KRNV)

- Devon Reese, who is running for re-election for a seat on the Reno City Council, may lose his at-large seat if Senate Bill 12, a bill proposed by the City of Reno Charter Committee, does not pass. The bill aims to eliminate gendered language from the Reno City Charter and add green infrastructure projects to local improvements while reversing a plan to create a sixth ward in Reno in 2024.
