Here are the top three stories today in Reno:

1. Online retailer Chewy has opened a new ecommerce fulfillment center in north Reno. The facility will allow the company to better serve its customers in the country's western region. This is the company's second facility in Northern Nevada and the company's 13th U.S. fulfillment center. (NNBW)
2. The annual Great Italian Festival in downtown Reno is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 8 and Sunday, Oct. 9. This is the 40th year that the festival has been in operation. The event is free to the public and is meant as a celebration of Italian culture. The festival's popular Sauce Cook-off will feature more than 20 families' recipes. (Ceasars.com)
3. Nevada Lieutenant Governor Lisa Cano Burkhead toured Washoe County School District's Wooster High School on Monday. Burkhead toured the building with Superintendent Susan Enfield. Burkhead and Enfield have teamed up to provide the county's students with a positive learning environment. (KOLO)
