  1. Reno just named a new Director of Parks And Recreation. Congratulations to Nathan Ullyot, who will lead a team of over 430 city employees. Ullyot will also support the department’s 87 park facilities and range of adaptive recreation, aquatics, athletics, and health and wellness. (Press Release Desk)
  2. The Reno-Tahoe International Airport expects large crowds in April. With the official start of Spring Break happening this week, the airport anticipates an increase in passenger traffic through mid-April. RNO expects approximately 14,000 passengers to pass on peak travel days. (KTVN)
  3. An "incorrect" city review caused confusion for Downtown Reno. City auditor Emily Kidd, who conducted an audit of Downtown Reno Partnership (DRP), said a “factual analysis” found annual financial audits, a five-year evaluation of the organization, and quarterly reports were not in compliance. While it caused confusion, the issue is resolved for now and will be tabled to talk about in a future meeting. (This Is Reno)
