Reno Man Arrested In Tuesday Morning Hotel Shooting

A 32-year old man was arrested after allegedly attacking an ex-girlfriend and another man with a gun.

RENO, NV - Police have arrested a man they say shot another man and assaulted his ex-girlfriend after tracking them down in a Reno hotel room.

Reno resident Mario Cisneros, 32, allegedly arrived at the hotel around 4:34 a.m. on Jan. 23 and tried to make contact with the two. When the male exited the hotel room, Cisneros allegedly attacked him while holding a gun that went off and hit the man. He was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries, according to a Reno Police Department release.

Cisneros then entered the room, police say, and hit the woman with his gun. He also demanded property from another person in the room, but left without anything. He was arrested on Jan. 24 at a Sparks casino. Cisneros is facing charges of battery with a deadly weapon, domestic battery with a firearm, attempted robbery with use of a deadly weapon, burglary, ex-felon possession of a firearm, and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
