Reno Man Suffering Life-Threatening Injuries After Hit-And-Run

Reno police officers responded to the incident around 4:30 a.m. in the intersection of 6th Street and Valley Road.

RENO, NV -- A man was injured Sunday morning in Reno after a car reportedly struck him then left the scene. Reno police officers responded to the incident around 4:30 a.m. in the intersection of 6th Street and Valley Road.

Officers who arrived at the scene found a man with substantial head and facial injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he is currently being treated for life-threatening injuries, police said.

Investigators believe the man was injured in a hit-and-run crash. Investigators are obtaining video from local businesses, and seeking the public's assistance in identifying the suspect and suspect vehicle, police said.
