Here are the top three stories today in Reno:
- The Washoe County Sheriff's Office reports its credit card processing issues have been resolved. The department will continue to accept payments in the form of credit card, cash, check, cashier's check, and money orders. Residents with questions regarding payments with the department are encouraged to call (775) 328-3023. (Press Release Desk)
- The State of Nevada held a career fair on Wednesday in Reno. The fair was held at Reno Town Mall with about 27 state departments, agencies, and organizations in attendance. The fair allowed active-duty military members, veterans, and military spouses early access to the career fair. The state is reminding the community that applications can still be submitted online. - The City of Reno reported phone outages on Wednesday. The outages were affecting calls from Verizon and AT&T customers. The city reported calls to emergency lines such as 911 and 334-COPS were not affected during the outages. The city asks residents to email renodirect@reno.gov for any non-emergency issues. (KRNV)
