- Four suspects have been arrested in connection to multiple armed robberies at CVS Pharmacies in Reno and Carson City on Apr. 1. The suspects, all males, were identified as Isiah Malik Taylor, 25, Mattese Adonis Miller, 24, Charlie Booker, 23, and Darius Lee Mitchell, 23. None of the suspects were from Nevada. The arrests were made after a short vehicle pursuit and foot chase with two of the suspects in North Reno. (KTVN)
- The Nevada Department of Transportation is hiring seasonal workers for highway construction and maintenance positions across the state, including in Reno, with applications currently being accepted. Interested applicants can find position requirements and submit their applications through the careers.nv.gov website or by emailing humanresources@dot.nv.gov with their resume and preferred geographic region. As temporary positions will only be available until filled in each area, NDOT recommends that interested applicants apply as soon as possible. (News4)
- Secret Witness is offering a reward of $500 for any information that can lead to the arrest and prosecution of a man who stole cash from Atlantis Casino Resort Spa on Saturday at around 10:45 p.m. The suspect stole the money from a casino slot key employee. Secret Witness has released pictures of the suspect and his vehicle (available at the link), and anyone with information can contact the police at 775-334-2144 or Secret Witness at 775-322-4900 or go to www.secretwitness.com to provide information.
