  1. The Reno City Council is considering a selection of finalists for the Ward 5 appointment. The council met on Thursday to discuss the finalists. There were 36 submissions for the position. (KUNR Public Radio)
  2. The Biden Administration's student loan cancelation announcement is met with mixed reactions from Reno residents. Some view the cancellation as a necessary policy amid rising rent costs and growing inflation. 3. Reno-based aha! airlines has stopped operations in response to ExpressJet Airlines filing for bankruptcy. The parent company has plans to sell off its assets.
