- A 34-year-old man from Reno died in a single-vehicle crash near Washoe Lake on US-395. On Tuesday afternoon, Roy Peter Ricci was driving on Franktown Road when his car began to drift. The vehicle struck a mailbox, a wooden split rail fence, and a culvert before spinning out and coming to a stop. Ricci was pronounced dead at the scene. (KRNV)

- Police in Sparks are looking for two persons of interest in connection to a fatal July shooting. On Jul. 28, a man was shot dead in a shopping center parking lot. The victim was identified as 21-year-old Hasaan Renteria of Sparks. Police are seeking T’Maureyai Banks and Jovon Woodard in connection to the crime. Their vehicle was last seen in Berkeley California. Anyone with information should contact the authorities. (KRNV)
