Gas Prices Continue To Remain High In New Hampshire
Gas prices remain high in New Hampshire and across the country as crude oil prices stay above $100 a barrel.

NEW HAMPSHIRE—Gas prices in New Hampshire remain stagnant after reaching the record-breaking average of $ 4.30 on March 10.
Prices remain a few cents below the national average in the Granite State, with prices at $4.29 a gallon compared to the national average of $4.32 a gallon. However, gas prices in New Hampshire are now 29 cents higher than a month ago and $1.47 higher than a year ago.
Prices of mid-grade, premium and diesel gasoline have continued to rise steadily—the cost of diesel in New Hampshire hit its highest recorded average price on May 9, 2022, at $6.22 a gallon.

“With the cost of oil accounting for more than half of the pump price, more expensive oil means more expensive gasoline,” said Mary Maguire, AAA Northeast Director of Public and Government Affairs. “Locally, prices have now moved past those record high levels of early March.”
Today's national average price is 10 cents higher than last week, as crude oil prices remain above $100 a barrel.
