Public Invited To Help Shape NH Transportation Plan
New Hampshire transportation officials are holding a public meeting in Manchester this week to help shape the 10-year plan for state roads.
CONCORD, NH — New Hampshire residents are invited to help shape the state's 10-year transportation plan during a public meeting being held this week in Manchester. The meeting will address Granite State's transportation priorities for the next decade, with the goal of involving the public in the process, according to state officials. It's taking place Wednesday at the Manchester Boys & Girls Club.
The meeting is being hosted by the Governor's Advisory Commission on Intermodal Transportation (GACIT), comprised of the five Executive Councilors and the commissioner of the N.H. Department of Transportation (DOT).
The purpose is to review transportation-related materials the response to the Executive Council's questions during previous recent meetings, according to the DOT. The draft 2021-2030 Ten-Year Transportation Plan will be discussed, and next step in the planning process will be reviewed.
