2 Arrested After High-Speed Police Pursuit In NH
Two Manchester residents are facing charges after a high-speed police pursuit through several New Hampshire communities on Saturday.

LEE, NH — Two Manchester residents were arrested Saturday after a high-speed police pursuit through several New Hampshire communities. The pursuit began with Pittsfield Police Department on Saturday night, going through Rochester and Dover, and ending in Lee. State Police say the pursuit ended after two different police departments used spike strips to get the vehicle to stop.
At approximately 11:44 p.m., State Police Troop A got a call from Pittsfield police that they were in pursuit of a Volkswagen Jetta due to several traffic violations, according to the State Police. The chase was on Route 11 going south from the Alton traffic circle. Soon after, State Police were notified that the pursuit was now in Rochester going south on Route 16 and periodically reaching speeds of 100 miles per hour, police say. The State Police troopers on Route 16 in Dover then deployed spike strips, and then assisted the Pittsfield police with the pursuit after the Jetta took Exit 4 and began traveling west on Route 4.
State Police say the pursuit continued on Route 4 in Lee, where Lee police deployed a second spike strip, causing the vehicle to come to a stop. The two occupants — Manchester residents Jessica Michaud, 36, and Javier Luna, 39, were then arrested without incident, State Police say.
