5-Story Hilton Hotel Planned In Bedford
Plans for a business-oriented five-story Hilton Home2Suites Hotel on South River Road in Bedford has been approved by the Planning Board.

BEDFORD, NH — A five-story Hilton Home2Suites hotel is being planned for South River Road in Bedford. The hotel will have 120 rooms and will cater to business travelers looking for an extended stay of several days or several weeks. The Planning Board approved site plans for the hotel during its April 22 meeting.
The hotel is to be located at 270 South River Road (Route 3), where Master An's Tae Kwon Do is currently situated. The existing buildings will be demolished before the construction of the hotel. The front of the lot will be marketed to future commercial tenants. The back of the lot, located closer to the Everett Turnpike, will offer 120 hotel rooms.
The new five-story hotel will be about 56 feet tall with a building footprint of 15,575 square feet. It will feature a contemporary design. Being business-oriented, the rooms in the hotel will feature kitchenettes, a conference and meeting space, an indoor pool, a breakfast buffet, a fitness center, an outdoor lounge area in the front and a patio area in the back, according to planning documents.

The planning documents submitted by TFMorgan state that because the hotel is for extended stay customers, it is not expected to generate much additional traffic.
The Planning Board approved the site plans on April 22, though the project still needs several permits from the state and additional approval from the town's departments.
