NH 5-Year-Old Critically Injured After Falling 3-Stories From A Window
Manchester firefighters and AMR medics performed CPR on the boy when they arrived. The child was flown to a Boston Hospital.
MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester firefighters, police, and AMR ambulance responded to 1436 Elm St. for a report of a child who fell to the ground from a third-story window on Tuesday.
Responders arrived at the scene just before 2:30 p.m. and found a child 5-year-old boy who was unresponsive, with head trauma. CPR was initiated by the responders and immediately transported to the Elliot Hospital. While en route, the trauma team was activated, and the child was given medical attention upon arrival.
The boy has been flown to a Boston hospital, and the condition is unknown at this time.

At 3:25 p.m., an AMR ambulance was dispatched to meet police at 1436 Elm St. for an infant who appeared to be dehydrated. The child was brought to the ambulance, where responders provided medical care for about 20 minutes before transporting them to the Elliot Hospital.
When the ambulance left the scene, a police cruiser followed the ambulance to the hospital. It is unknown if this is related to the incident earlier in the afternoon.

Manchester police taped off the rear of the building and directed people away from the area. Detectives arrived at the scene just before 4 p.m. and began documenting the scene by taking photographs, and measurements.
In May, a 3-year-old fell from a 3rd-floor window at 1458, which is just feet away from today’s incident and is in the same block.
