  1. Adam Sandler was spotted in the Mall of New Hampshire Wednesday. A sweet dog named Keaton, who is recovering from surgery at the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire, hopes the comedian and actor from Manchester will stop by the shelter while he is in New Hampshire.   2. Fall has officially arrived in New Hampshire, and it's time for the Fall Fair at the Farm at The Educational Farm ay Joppa Hill.   3. A bill that would require background checks for employees of nonpublic schools receiving Education Freedom Account Program funds under the Education Tax Credit appears unlikely to pass. House Bill 628 would require employees of any organization that contracts with the state to provide in-person instruction to undergo a background check. Republicans on the committee argued, "it is the role of parents, not the state, to determine whether they feel safe sending their children to a nonpublic school." Rep. Kristin Noble (R-Bedford) said, “These are people that (parents) trust. Why the need for a background check?" Education committee Democrats supporting the bill said the Bill would bring new security measures. (New Hampshire Bulletin)
