Adoption Alert: Pomegranate is Low-Maintenance

Pomegranate: Hello there, my name is Pomegranate! I came to the shelter as a stray cat that likely had been dumped by my former owners. Because I had to fend for myself outside for quite some time in a rural area, I had developed some suspicion about humans. When I like someone, I will come out and seek petting from them, and although I do scare easily (and run away if I am scared), I recover quickly and try again. I will never be a cat that you can pick up and carry around, but I am a social cat in that I like to be in the same room as people. With time, love and patience, I will be a low-maintenance companion for you. I would LOVE to have a feline companion of either gender who is friendly, likes to play and can be a good role model for my continuing socialization. if you visit with me and I come out of hiding for you, please consider adopting me! Although I will likely need a safe room and may hide for a few weeks, I will do my best to adjust and show you that I am a great pet!

Roxey: Hey there! I’m Roxey and I’m a sweet, 8 years young lab girl. I’m a lively girl who has lived with kids. My previous owner said that my favorite game is fetch and that I love the water! They described me as easy going, playful and companionable. I also like car rides. So if you’re looking for a social butterfly for a companion or a friend to play in the water, I’m your girl!
