Another Week, Another Roadwork Phase on Joppa Hill
Phase 2B expected to begin Aug. 29.
Weather permitting, Phase 2A of construction on Joppa Hill Road – which currently presents a road closure between Golden Drive and Cider Mill Road – is expected to be substantially complete by Friday, Aug. 30 and subsequently reopened.
The next phase, 2B, will close Joppa Hill Road between Cider Mill Road and Millstone Terrace and is expected to begin Thursday, Aug. 29. A barricade will be placed on Joppa Hill Road north of Cider Mill Road, between addresses #324 and #327, and the section of road will be closed to all through vehicles (see attached detour plan). The latest phase is scheduled to be completed Sept. 27.
Additionally, a section of Joppa Hill Road between Golden Drive and King Road may be closed to all traffic on Aug. 28 and/or Aug. 29 as crews prepare the area and pave on Aug. 30.
