- What can you do in Bedford this weekend? Catch a performance of The Wizard of Oz at Bedford High School on Friday, Nov. 18, at 7 p.m. (understudy cast) with "students from the entire district!" Or find the perfect Christmas tree at the Bedford Men's Club's Christmas Tree sale. Trees will be for sale in the parking lot of Murphy's Taproom & Carriage House starting Saturday, Nov. 19, at 1 p.m. The freshly-cut 5' to 12' tall trees are from Weir Tree Farms in Colebrook, New Hampshire. Christmas trees will also be for sale Mondays-Thursdays from 5-8:30 p.m., Fridays from 4- 9 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays. (Bedford Patch)
- Get ready for Virtual Pajama Storytime! Kid's 0-12 are invited to join in to listen to a story from the Bedford Public Library on Monday, Nov. 28 at 7 p.m. via Zoom. The BPL said in a recent post: "Get comfy in your PJs, bring your stuffies and we'll read you bedtime stories." An email with a link to join will be sent to everyone who registers for the event. - Kayla Montgomery, the stepmother of Harmony Montgomery, will serve 1.5 years in prison in a negotiated plea deal. Ten years of her sentence was suspended for agreeing to testify against her husband, Adam Montgomery, originally from Bedford, who is charged with the murder of his 5-year-old daughter, Harmony. Kayla Montgomery "has never been charged in connection to the disappearance or death of Harmony Montgomery." (Bedford Patch)
