The Bedford police notified the Southern New Hampshire Special Operations Unit, which comprises responders from several cities and towns in Southern New Hampshire. Officers assembled on Boynton Street in the parking lot of a local business and were briefed on the situation, receiving a description of a man who appeared to be the one they were looking for.

Officers gave orders for the suspect to come out. After a short time, negotiators convinced a man to exit the house with his hands up. The man was handcuffed and placed in a Bedford cruiser; it is unknown at this time what the charges are. A press release did not detail any names or charges.
