Bedford's Memorial Day Parade A 'Tribute To Patriotism'

BEDFORD, NH — The Bedford Memorial Day parade is returning this year with floats from local organizations, patriotism and community spirit. The annual Hometown Parade will take place this Sunday, starting at 1 p.m. The theme this year is "Tribute to Patriotism," and will feature a tribute to a World War II veteran.
The parade will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Bedford High School driveway. Participants will then march down County Road and up Liberty Hill Road, ending at McKelvie Intermediate School, where visitors can take in the sights and sounds of the afternoon with various vendors on the school grounds ready to serve refreshments from Bedford Men's Club and other organizations.
Various community organizations will have floats in the parade revolving around the "Tribute to Patriotism" theme. The annual Memorial Day parade is typically well-attended, and features many local groups showing community spirit.
