  1. Windy has a new home, and the Animal Rescue League of NH couldn't be happier. Windy is with her new brother Teddy, "and we know their family is thrilled!" the ARLNH wrote in a recent post. And that's only part of the story. It's #SubaruLovesPets month, and "Granite Subaru will donate $100 for every pet adopted this month, up to $3,100!" Now is a perfect time to visit the ARLNH in Bedford to give a deserving pet a new home. See a picture of these two new dog pals with their family here: (Animal Rescue League of NH via Facebook)
  2. Bedford parents are invited to help The Bedford Athletic Club. The nonprofit BAC Recreation program said it couldn't offer its programs and activities without the help and support of the community. Over 700 kids participate in the BAC fall soccer program, from Pre-K to 8th graders. To find out how you can help, email recsoccer@bedfordac.com. (Bedford Athletic Club via Facebook)
  3. Have you walked in circles in a fall corn maze, only to finally find the exit? That's half the fun! WMUR viewers were asked to vote on the best corn maze in New Hampshire, and here's how they voted: Beans & Greens Farm in Gilford made the top five. Some of the viewers said they make sure they go to this maze every year! Moulton Farm in Meredith and Elwood Orchards in Londonderry tied for third place. Coppal House Farm in Lee came in second.
