Yesterday saw roughly 8-12 inches of snow, sleet and rain fall in the greater Bedford area.
With much of that slushy mix melting late in the day and then freezing overnight as temperatures dropped into the 20s, the National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement for eastern Hillsborough County and other areas of New Hampshire.
According to the warning, motorists are advised to take extra caution due to the likelihood of slippery spots on local roadways during the morning rush hour commute.
