Catch a Free Film at the Library Today

The Bedford Public Library is showing two free movies today as part of its summer reading program.

First, from 1:30-4:30 p.m. in the McAllaster Room, the 169-minute full length PG-13 feature of "The Hobbit - An Unexpected Journey" will be shown for teens in the program.

Then tonight, from 6:30-8 p.m., participating adults will convene in the McAllaster Room for R-rated "Promised Land" starring Matt Damon.
