Bedford in the news:
- A driver was unconscious and had to be extracted from his car after the driver's side door was struck by a pickup truck that may have crossed the median on Back River Road in Goffstown, initial reports said. It took 40 minutes for firefighters to extract the injured young man from the car. A second ambulance was requested from Bedford to assist the driver of the other vehicle. His mother arrived at the scene and was able to talk with him while the injured man was being treated in an ambulance. A trauma alert was sent to The Elliott Hospital. - Dartmouth-Hitchcock is hiring on the spot at the 16th Nursing In-Person Hiring Event. Organizers said that registered nurses, nursing students (NRP), licensed practical nurses (LPNs), licensed nursing assistants (LNAs), medical assistants and surgical technicians will be offered jobs at the 16th Nursing In-Person Hiring Event at 1 Medical Center Drive in Lebanon on Oct. 16 at 2 p.m. Enjoy the foliage traveling to the event.
