MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester Police, Fire, and AMR Ambulance were dispatched to TD Bank at 1255 South Willow St. on Monday for a vehicle that crashed into the building.
Firefighters arrived and found a compact car that had crashed through a window and was located inside the bank lobby at about 8:40 a.m. Crews immediately assessed the structural damage and began to reach the elderly woman who was still inside the car. Firefighters and medics removed the driver from the car and began a medical assessment of her.
Several firefighters worked to remove debris from the area of the car and checked on anyone inside the bank at the time of the crash. No one inside the bank had any physical injuries, but several were shaken up by the incident.

After being assessed, the woman refused medical transport, according to Manchester Fire Battalion Chief Robert Beaudet. A firefighter backed the car out of the building, and other members worked on adding support to some of the damaged structure.
Initial investigations showed the woman pulled into a parking space and accelerated forward over bushes, through the external glass wall, and coming to rest against an interior office.
