Family Devastated And Seeking Answers After 'Senseless Shooting'
Timothy Pouliot's mother says, "fight one-on-one with fists like the old days"; the victim's 2-year-old daughter said, "I want my daddy."

MANCHESTER, NH — Timothy Pouliot of Manchester was shot eight times in the chest, shoulder, and abdomen, according to his mother Michelle Pouliot Bilodeau, and he leaves a 2-year-old daughter behind.
Pouliot’s daughter, Arabella, who will turn 3 in March, ran and hugged many of the family and friends who gathered in the hallway of Hillsborough County Superior Court Monday. The family expected that John Delee of Salem would be in the courtroom, but he avoided that by having his lawyer waive his arraignment.
Arabella’s mother, Kiara McKenzie, shared she hoped to see the accused shooter show a little remorse. She told a small group of reporters that Sunday night Arabella said “I want my daddy,” if Pouliot hadn’t been killed he would have been the one to tuck her in for the evening.

Pouliot's mother expressed anger and frustration that people use guns instead of fists to solve disputes.
“Fight one-on-one like the old days. Cowards shoot you, especially eight times in the chest,” she said.

Timothy was just over 100 pounds, soaking wet, and only 5 foot 6 inches. Pouliot was a Tae Kwon Do instructor, according to his mother. Court documents show that Delee is 6 foot 6 inches and weighs 330 pounds.
Timothy went to the Goat Bar and Grill to meet a friend, and to her knowledge, did not know the accused shooter. A video circulating on social media shows Delee being escorted out by staff members of the Goat. They appear to struggle with him, but eventually, get him outside the bar on Old Granite Street. The video appears to show Pouliot in the background, but there is no interaction with the suspect on the video.
A short time later, in an area located wast of the Goat, Delee, and Pouliot have an interaction.
A video seen by thousands of people on social media shows Pouliot throwing a punch, and Delee immediately. Two retired law enforcement investigators who saw the video have commented about how quickly the gun is raised which they say could be an indication the firearm was already in the shooter's hand.
As of early Monday afternoon, a GoFundMe page had raised $9,000 toward a $10,000 goal for funeral expenses and to support Pouliot’s daughter.

The owner of the Goat, Al Fleury told the Union Leader the alleged shooter was asked to leave his establishment about an hour before the murder. “It was not like there was a fight that spilled into the road, and that happened,” Fleury told the Union Leader Sunday.
About 15 people who were identified as family and friends of Delee were just a few feet away from Pouliot’s family but refused to speak to any members of the press. Delee’s attorney said that he is confident that his client will be found not guilty.
Asked how Delee was feeling, his attorney said: “He’s being held in custody, which is something that I don’t think anybody ever wants. It’s difficult emotionally.”
