The Bedford girls soccer team won the Div. 1 championship game after playing against Exeter for a 1-0 victory. - TFMoran's Bedford office welcomed Margaret Levell, who joined the team as civil engineer. She joined the company after graduating with a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering and Environmental and Natural Resources from Purdue University. Her capstone project was an Urban Agriculture Irrigation Project to help with food insecurity in Detroit, Michigan. - Visit the Festival of Trees on Saturday, Dec. 3 at the Old Bedford Town Hall, 70 Bedford Center Road in Bedford. The Bedford Women's Club is hosting the fun holiday event, where decorated tabletop trees will be on display and raffled off. An "elaborate gingerbread model of Bedford Presbyterian Church" will also be on display. Enjoy refreshments, live music, activities for children and an appearance by Santa. The event is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and admission is free! (Bedford Patch)
