- Help is on the way for surging omicron cases and increasing COVID-19 deaths in New Hampshire. Three FEMA teams are arriving early in January to help administer monoclonal antibody treatments in New Hampshire starting Jan. 3. According to the governor's office, Federal Emergency Management Agency teams will go to the Elliot Hospital in Manchester as well as Concord Hospital and Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital. Dr. Holly Mintz, of the Elliot Hospital, said they are "very confident" that over the next few weeks they should be able to treat hundreds of patients with the appropriate antibody. - A body was recovered from the icy waters of the Merrimack River on Thursday. Fire crews responded to a call from Arms Park in Manchester saying there was a body in the river. Emergency responders launched boats to recover the body and the NH Office of the Chief Medical Examiner was called to the scene. Manchester police detectives are investigating the incident and are trying to identify the person. You can read more about this developing story here: (Patch)
