Friendly Toast In Bedford Cuts The Ribbon, Smashes Egg
Community leaders celebrated the opening of the Friendly Toast restaurant in Bedford Wednesday by cutting the ribbon and smashing an egg.
BEDFORD, NH — Community leaders celebrated the official opening of the new Friendly Toast restaurant in Bedford on Wednesday morning with a ribbon cutting and the inaugural smashing of an egg. The Friendly Toast, known for its creative meals and eclectic atmosphere, announced the opening of its new location last month. The 120-seat restaurant offers all-day breakfast, vintage decor, and a full bar.
Participating in the ribbon cutting ceremony Wednesday morning were Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce Director of Membership Development Heather Avella, Bedford Friendly Toast General Manager P.J. Maratos, Friendly Toast co-owner Eric Goodwin, Friendly Toast Director of Operations Staci Pinard, Bedford Town Manager Rick Sawyer, and Bedford Mayor Joyce Craig.
In addition to cutting the ribbon, the community and business leaders smashed an egg on the sidewalk to mark the opening of the new location.

The new Friendly Toast in Bedford is the restaurant's sixth location in New England, and second location in the Granite State. The other restaurant in New Hampshire is located in downtown Portsmouth.
