Here are the top stories in Bedford today:

1. State police chased a car from the Everett Turnpike in Bedford through Manchester, ending in the driveway of a Front Street home. The harrowing high speed chase began after Nicholas Soukaras, 42, allegedly refused to stop for speeding and police pursued the driver to Front Street in Manchester. Soukaras pulled into a driveway to turn around and police rammed the car. He fled on foot and police followed with guns drawn through back yards, capturing him after he was spotted in the bright light of a police drone. (WMUR)
2. Another Bedford Bunch adoption! The Animal Rescue League of NH has another Happy Tail to share from Iris: This cute rescue dog was"a perfect match" for her new owner, who "loves her to bits." She is also good with Angel, the other dog in the house, and no longer shakes when she sleeps. She loves car rides and was well behaved when she and Angel quietly rode in a shopping cart at Aldi, even when a barking poodle in another cart rolled by. 3.
