A winter storm warning remains in effect throughout the day today, with Bedford and surrounding areas predicted to see 10-16 inches of heavy wet snow.
In fact, a winter storm warning remains in effect for all of southern New Hampshire, including Hillsborough County, through midnight tonight.
In addition to roughly a foot of snow, a glaze of ice is also expected, creating an additional hazard for those forced to drive in the storm. Both the morning and evening commutes are expected to be impacted, and New Hampshire State Police, yesterday, released this advisory regarding the storm and associated travel conditions.
