Hunter Found Deceased Off Dunbarton Road In Manchester
Fish & Game conservation officers responded after family members discovered the man who suffered an apparent medical emergency on Saturday.

MANCHESTER, NH — New Hampshire Fish and Game Conservation Officers are investigating the discovery of a deceased hunter who was found in a wooded area off Dunbarton Road late Saturday night.
Authorities believe the man suffered a medical emergency while retrieving a harvested deer.
NH State Police dispatch alerted Fish and Game Conservation Officers to the situation at approximately 10 p.m. on Saturday. Officers arrived on the scene in Manchester around 10:30 p.m.

"After a preliminary investigation, it was determined that the hunter, whose name is being withheld pending family notification, had harvested a deer and was retrieving it from the woods when he suffered a medical emergency," Lieutenant Adam Cheney of NH Fish and Game stated.
The hunter was discovered by a family member who became concerned and went looking for him after he failed to return home that evening.

The investigation remains ongoing. The NH Fish and Game Conservation Officers received assistance at the scene from the Manchester Fire Department and the Manchester Police Department.
